I can’t believe I’m already on Year 7 of creating a Yearly Bucket List for myself! This practice of creating a list to intentionally fill each year of my life with things – both big & small – that “fill my bucket” has been so great for me! We all get so busy – especially when trying to build/run a business AND raise a family – and it’s so easy to let to-do lists full of tasks take over. This is an attempt to create a to-do list of life-giving, heart-filling moments instead of tasks.
If you haven’t tried creating a yearly bucket list for yourself, I highly recommend it! Here’s what made the cut for the Yearly Bucket List as I celebrated another birthday:
- Beach time
- Organize the girls school work/artwork for keepsakes
- Host branding mini sessions
- 2 social media free weekends per month
- Travel somewhere new
- Mommy/daughter date with each of the girls
- Top Golf date with Max
- Volunteer at the Kitchen with Dad
- Run a 5k
- Do 5 random acts of kindness with the girls
- Cut flowers from the yard to put in the house
- Girls Weekend
- 1 month of doing yoga every day
- Go to an art gallery/museum
- Read 50 books
What items would you include on your bucket list?
