I am sooooooo excited to share this brand photo session today!!! I love love love getting to work with other small business owners, especially creatives, and to top it off, Victoria of Victoria Garcia Studios is a brand photographer as well!
When I had my consultation call with Victoria, I could tell right away she was professional & wanted to get beautiful, high-quality images to complement all of the work she’s been doing to relaunch her website. With that goal also came a desire to get the shoot scheduled ASAP in order to allow her to move forward with the website process… We were all set to go, and then BOOM. There were so many setbacks (hellloooooo, flu!) that caused us to have to reschedule.
First, I had the flu. Then, the night before our rescheduled session date, Victoria’s poor little daughter spiked a high fever, and needless to say, we pushed the session back again. She was so calm and positive about it, but I just knew that this was so rough on Victoria who was soooo ready to get these images, so I told her to focus on getting that sweet baby well & that the session would happen. We’d get her the images she’s been wanting for so long, and all would be well.
In her reply, Victoria said “And your words are literally what I needed to hear, because when I started to write that email all I could think was ‘is this ever going to happen?'”
THIS right here. THIS is why I absolutely love getting to serve other small business owners through photography, & through coming along side them to cheer them on! I know how those feelings of doubt can creep in & you start to wonder if your plans will ever materialize, and sometimes you just need someone to tell you it’s going to work out & you’re going to keep moving forward. Getting to do that AND provide brand images that up-level businesses? It fills my heart.

I love mixing in headshots with a little personality along with the more traditional ones! This is one of my favorites!!
I love this photo for so many reasons!! First, Victoria looks stunning, right?!?! Second, in learning more about Victoria’s business & about her as a person, I learned that she’s both a technology & pen/paper kinda girl, and this image really speaks to that!
Pretty sure we were channeling our inner Beyonce as her music fueled our session at this point!

I am a big fan of quotes, Bible verses or movie/song lyrics that you can go to when you need a little extra boost, and it’s always so fun for me to see what my clients’ have chosen as their go-to phrase!
This was such a fun set up for Victoria to use when she talks about sourcing inspiration for planning her clients’ sessions.
Audrey Hepburn is a big influence on the Victoria Garcia Studios brand, and I just couldn’t help but have Victoria hold this beautiful audrey style book for an image or two!
I loved this magazine quote as Victoria flipped through a few pages:
“Whatever is given to you on the day you are born, you are the one who decides who you will become, every day. Beauty grows as we grow into ourselves.”
