One of the items on my Yearly Bucket List this year was to roast s’mores. Some of my favorite things on the list each year are the little, almost everyday type things that can be done at home and cost next-to-nothing (like running through the sprinklers), and this was no exception.
Not only did I get to eat s’mores, but I got to watch Peanut experience tasting her first s’more too!
Max was the fire master and got us all set to go.
Marshmallow roasting is a serious business!
Pumpkin may not have been able to share in the gooey goodness just yet, but she did get to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous weather with us!
My big girl got to sneak a marshmallow while we roasted, and she was pretty happy about it!
The anticipation….
Going for it…
And then watching her reaction… priceless!! Max did such a good job capturing it!
I’m pretty sure she was a fan!
Of course then after we let Peanut eat her s’more, Max and I had to get in on the action too!
Like I said, the little things tend to be my favorite, and when they involve melted chocolate & family time? Guaranteed winner in my book.
