I am a little behind on posting this, but better late than never! And in keeping with the trend of not quite being on top of things, there’s only two movies for last month..
His Pick:
I wouldn’t say this was my favorite crime/thriller movie, but it wasn’t bad. There were a few moments that were pretty far-fetched and Max had to keep telling me to quit being so logical, but it was still entertaining. And let’s be honest here, y’all. I got to spend time looking at Chris Hemsworth. Enough said.
Our Pick:
Black or White
This pick was one that neither of us really wanted all that much, but over Thanksgiving break we realized we hadn’t watched any movies yet and there wasn’t much of anything catching our attention on Netflix. Somehow we landed on this one (probably mostly because of Kevin Costner). I fully expected Max to fall asleep no more than about 30 minutes into the movie, or that we’d make it half way and have to finish watching it the next day, but we ended up watching the whole thing that night. A little predictable, a little tough to watch at times, but it was alright overall.
