The feeling in the room was both excited & peaceful, thoughtful & relaxed, full of newness & settled into veteran comfort. As Morgan & her sister (the super talented Mal of silk + kraft) greeted me & introduced me to sweet little Trent, there was just an all around laid-back vibe with attention to detail that is hard to attain, let alone in those newborn days! I was so impressed right from the start, and Trent followed suit sleeping so peacefully through almost the whole session! The sunlight streamed in through the windows in the front room, we shifted some furniture to create space to photograph Trent’s early days, and I couldn’t have been happier.

Obviously I loved all of the classic whites & soft blues we went with for these, but can we take a second to just talk about those little hands?!?!?! Too perfect!

Pouty baby lips get me every time! I can’t even begin to tell you how much time I spent looking at my girls’ little lips as they slept in my arms.

Morgan & Mark, your little man is the absolute sweetest & I am so happy for y’all! Thanks for letting me come be a little part of this sweet stage!! Enjoy the photos (especially when they’re hung on the walls of your new home!)!
