When I get to photograph the same families time after time it just makes me so incredibly honored, happy & fulfilled. When those families are willing to travel from Austin to Kingwood for their portraits? I am just blown away with gratitude.

I can’t believe how big Caleb has gotten – I started photographing this family before he was born when Lauren booked a Little Ones package, and over that first year of Caleb’s life I got so used to seeing them every few months, it’s been rough having to wait so long in between portrait sessions! But y’all, getting to see them even once a year is a blessing because I just love this family! So genuine, so fun, so easy to be around… and clearly, photogenic too!

Another reason I love this family? They’re Red Raiders too. And that photo on the right? Instant favorite! Wreck ’em!

…..and my heart’s a big puddle. So so so sweet!

Love this one too!! And to all my mamas, take note of this one… you see that little flip of hair between Lauren & Caleb’s hands? He started being silly, playing with the ends of her hair. A lot of mamas will feel like things like that mean their kids aren’t behaving & they aren’t getting any good photos, but if you just keep smiling & trust me…. you’ll end up with some amazing photos! Seriously, just trust me!

There are so many reasons why I loved this session… some of which I already mentioned, but there’s a big surprise reason why I’m so thrilled about it!!!!

It wasn’t JUST family portraits for the three of them… they’re going to be a family of 4 & I got to snap some photos for them to announce the pregnancy! Love love love getting to be a part of my family’s lives as they grow!!! Congrats, Cole family! I am THRILLED for y’all!!!

And Baby Cole? I love you already, too!
