We got back from our spring break trip last night and I have to say that although I wish we’d had a lot more sunshine at the beach, it was soooooooo nice to just take a week to fully relax and do a whole lotta nothing!

But now that I’m back… There’s really no better way to kickstart the blog than with some photos of a more than adorable little man! I took maternity portraits for Lauren and Zach, and it was so much fun to get to see them again so soon and to meet sweet Caleb. I LOVE how I can keep up with my Little Ones packages families…. not much better than getting to see great people regularly throughout the year, and watch their new addition grow up. So good, y’all. SO. GOOD.

Ok… enough of all that. It’s time for  y’all to meet Caleb…

There’s just nothing like tiny little baby features.. especially their pouty little mouths!

This next set most definitely has a special place in my heart with those Double T’s on that handsome little man…

After the special outfits and set ups, it was time to simply document these three in their first days as a family. I love being able to get images like these because I know how quickly those early days fly by, and how it becomes hard to imagine how that sweet little one fit right inside your hands. And really, there’s just something about seeing a daddy’s strong hands cradling a precious little newborn.

So so sweet!

And getting images of how powerful a mother’s love is, even only after a few days of officially “knowing” each other? Such an honor.

Lauren and Zach are such naturals and seemed like they’ve been doing this whole parenting thing for forever. It was really sweet to watch them breathing in these moments and their sweet son.
