Today’s blog post is a special one because I get to celebrate an amazing person and recent graduate!!!! Solomon has been a part of the Orientation Program for years, and it’s really been a blessing to watch him grow in his leadership skills and see the impact he’s had on his fellow Lumberjacks. Solomon has the most infectious positive spirit, and I am so proud of the way he has hustled and worked on school and while pouring himself into the many organizations he’s been a part of.
It was so fun to see the reality of graduation really sink in while he was wearing his graduation attire – there’s just something so surreal (and a little bittersweet) about this time – being so excited to accomplish an amazing goal and move on to the next step in life, but also a little sad to be leaving the place you’ve made your home for the past few years. Solomon was definitely a little more on the excited side during our shoot though!!
I love this one, Solomon!! You have the BEST smile!!
Through his participation in so many aspects of campus, Solomon has become a bit of an SFA icon for a lot of people, just like the traditional Rusk building, so I loved getting a few shots of him with those columns and staircase in the background.
And this series? This is soooooo Solomon!! I’m going to miss having that larger than life personality around campus and the office!
Once again – can’t stay serious for too long… and I love it!
Solomon, congrats again! I am so so so proud of you, and I hope you soaked in every second of your graduation experience on Saturday! I can’t wait to see what big things you accomplish in the future – I’ll be cheering you on the whole way!!
