Each year for the past few years I’ve donated a 30 minute photoshoot to an auction at work. The auction tends to get a little competitive, but it is all in good fun and raises money for the amazing Nacogdoches County United Way.
This year, Dr. Penny Jeffery had the winning bid on the shoot, and that’s how I was able to meet her sweet family. She decided to get a few shots of the whole family, as well as some portraits of her daughter who will be graduating soon. In our short timeframe they kept me laughing (which I just LOVE), and we got some great photos of the family and of Allison.
Don’t you just love it when siblings actually look like they like each other? I know it took my brother and I a while to get there, but I’m so glad we did!
Next up… Allison’s turn to take center stage!
LOVE this one! Allison wanted to have at least a few shots with the remnants of the numbers written on her hands. The reason for the marker art was a swim meet – which Allison totally rocked! It was fun to go back yeeeeears in my memory to all the swim meets I competed in – but I never did the tough long distance swims that Allison does! I’m definitely impressed… and maybe slightly motivated to find some time to squeeze in some laps soon! (And by the way, Allison – you’re beautiful!!)
Jeffery family, thanks so much for being so fun to work with!! Hope you enjoyed that pizza dinner after the shoot! 😉
