I have to say I wasn’t that big of a fan of this one. I think Max enjoyed it though. Parts were entertaining, but overall it just never really grabbed me.
My Pick:
This one I did like… not quite at the level of Remember the Titans, but it was definitely a great feel-good sports movie. Honestly better than I thought it was going to be. Max enjoyed it too, which was good! A knowing it was based on a true story made it better for me too. Definitely one I’d watch again!
Our Pick:
This was our favorite pick of the month. The acting was great, and the story was too. The tension in their relationship was so real at times that I really did get lost in the story. One downside? The amount of puke. Not expecting that…. and when still battling first-trimester nausea? Not real helpful. But it was worth it to get through those scenes for the rest of the movie! This is one I’d watch again – especially if my stomach is feeling nice and settled.
