I don’t know about you, but the end of the year seemed to be SO full this year! There are so many amazing families I was fortunate enough to photograph that I can’t wait to introduce to you here on the blog! Lots to get caught up on, and I’m thrilled to start with the Mayons!
Being in Kingwood, we don’t usually need to worry about everyone being too cold during portrait sessions, but this early morning session was definitely cold!! Jenny, Steven, Taylor & Cole were such troopers in the cold, and it was definitely worth it – I love so many of their portraits!
Having grown up with a brother, I know how the siblings-only portraits can be a bit awkward, but a few jokes in & these two were all smiles!
I don’t think Taylor & Cole were too excited about this one (except maybe feeling a bit warmer for a second), but as soon as I showed them the back of the camera & asked “That was worth it to get that photo for your mom, right??,” they both grinned & agreed! Hopefully they’ll look back on this image together one day as good friends.
LOVE this one!! The mom & dad portraits just never disappoint for me!!
A favorite FOR SURE!!
I love that you can just tell how easy-going & fun this family is in this image!
Love this one!
Breaking out into smaller groups during your portrait session is a great way to get variety in your gallery, give family members a bit of a breather & makes for some really special images that both parents & children will cherish for years to come.
This is definitely my favorite image from the session! Mayon Family, thanks for braving the cold (& the early morning wake-up call) with me! I loved meeting y’all & hope to see y’all again in the new year!
If the craziness of the holiday season kept a family portrait session off of your family calendar, no worries! I’m now booking 2018 portrait sessions – just click here to get in touch! I can’t wait to hear from you!!
