I woke up Saturday morning to get my gear all ready to head out for a sunrise family portrait session in a location I was so excited to try out, only to realize that there was a crazy thick fog settled over Kingwood! Being a mama, I know how tough it is to call an audible sometimes with the schedule for the little ones, so I messaged Laura & gave her the option to wait it out a bit or go ahead and embrace the fog. We went for it in the fog & I don’t mind one bit! Sure, we may have missed a bit of golden morning light, but this family knocked it out of the park anyway! I am so happy with how these turned out – fog & all!
Laura & Brandon, I seriously don’t think your kids could get any cuter! Y’all look like you should be on the cover of a magazine!
This one is a favorite for SURE!
I asked Charlie if he was ready to take some pictures, and he just looked at me, stuck his hands in his little jean pockets & shot me that little smile, and I just about melted. Too much cuteness!!
Sweet girl!!
To all my moms & dads out there – take a second to get a few photos of just the two of you during your family session. I know it gets crazy & life can end up revolving around the kids sometimes, but it’s so important to remember where all the crazy started! And your kids will LOVE to look back at these some day & be able to see how you looked at each other that same way throughout the years.
STOP IT. Just STOP IT with how adorable these two are!!!! I can only hope my girls will be this sweet with one another as they get older!
Beautiful girls!!
Laura asked me to get a shot of all of their boots to continue a family tradition – I can help but love how Wynnie’s little face made it into this one!
After we finished up with the portraits of the whole family, Wynnie got to be the star of the show to celebrate her first birthday! Laura mentioned that the older kids also got photos in their personalized chairs for their first birthday, and now it was her turn…
These are the things that I love, y’all. When photographs are ingrained in family history. When I get to be a part of continuing that legacy for this family to look back on year after year as they all grow & eventually start their own families. I am just so thankful to get to be a part of that!
Laura & Brandon, thank you so much for making an early start to your Saturday & for being such a joy to work with! Your kids are precious & I hope you love all of your photos!
If you’re ready to book your family’s portrait session, just shoot me a message! I can’t wait to hear from you, learn about your family & start planning!
