Y’all, I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am that I stumbled upon Jackie Ray Photography on Facebook…. Her work is amazing, and she was so much fun during our shoot! I am so in love with our images, and I’ve already been having a hard time deciding which ones to pick for Christmas cards. (I’m trying really hard to not let that keep me from actually sending Christmas cards, but we’ll see how I do with that…)
So since I have to limit the selection for that, I decided I might as well show a bunch of them here! She captured so many things about our family so well, and I am incredibly thankful for that.
This one is definitely a crowd favorite.. and one of my favorites too!! This look is just so her, and it’s one of the things she does that pretty much cracks me up every. single. time. Love this sweet girl so much!! We got a few shots of each of us with Peanut, and I’m sooo glad we did! Be still my heart. I love watching these two playing together! Aaaaaand there’s that face again! Right before we wrapped up for the day, we tried to get Peanut to settle in for a few more photos… so we sat down to read a book. These images are so special to me because they captured this time in her life where she gets more excited about books than she does about most of her toys. She will grab a book, plop down in your lap and help turn the pages. Sometimes she’ll finish a book with me, hop out of my lap, walk straight to Max and have him read it to her too. I don’t know if this love of reading will last, but I sure hope it does… and if it doesn’t? I’ll always have these pictures to remember my little bookworm.
Jackie, thank you from the bottom of my heart for these gorgeous images. Thank you for being so easy to work with, and thank you for being so open to talk photography. I appreciate all of that more than you know!
Happy Family = Happy Life!
