As we packed up the laptop, planner, notebooks, & my camera gear from our little table at Osso & Kristalla, Girija insisted that we order lunch before we moved locations. When I politely declined, saying that she didn’t need to buy me food during a shoot focused on her, she sweetly but firmly wouldn’t accept my “no” for an answer. With kindness and grace, Girija guided the waitress my way for my to-go order, and as I drove to our second location with the smell of margherita pizza filling my car, I felt overcome with thankfulness for the opportunity to get photos for this incredible woman. This woman focused on serving other creative entrepreneurs by building the legal foundations of their dreams-turned-business. This woman who made sure to give business to the eatery that so graciously opened their door to us for her brand portraits.
Girija, you’re beautiful inside & out, and it was a joy to photograph you & share conversation over pizza once again. I am so excited to see these images go to work for GBP Law so that you can go to work for other creatives!
One trick I encourage my brand clients to do is to grab accessories or wardrobe options that can extend the use of their images from season to season. I loved the scarf that Girija brought – perfect for her brand, and so good for being able to stretch her gallery into fall!
I am such a paper and pen kinda girl when it comes to to-do lists, and I love that Girija’s planner had specific pages dedicated to writing out goals and the steps to achieve them!
Girija, you are so classy, strong & chic but also so welcoming & relatable at the same time!
Girija, I can’t wait to see the impact you have on Houston creatives as they build and up-level their businesses! You are providing such a needed service, and I am excited to cheer you on!
