In the late afternoon heat of summer, Harper splashed & explored the grass of my backyard. This sweet 6 month old baby girl was so intent on exploring & figuring things out – which isn’t much of a surprise with her mom being a teacher! She’s ready to learn already. We spent a few minutes getting portraits of Harper with her family, the people that love her most, and then it was alllll about her! (And big sister got to go play with Peanut & Pumpkin’s toys in the air conditioning with daddy! Win, win!)
With a newly developed ability to sit, Harper got to cool off in the water with mom close by to catch her if she wobbled. You don’t see her in most of the images, but I love knowing that Jaime was just outside the frame. Such a beautiful example of Jaime raising her girls – letting them grow & learn & practice, but always there to keep them safe, and pick them up when they’re too tired to sit tall on their own.
Now that’s the life! Laid back, relaxing in the pool! Harper’s got this all figured out!!
