This brand session for Kelly of Bird & Hyssop had me alllll in my feels, friend. Why? So many reasons! It was the third & final session in her Brand Collective. It also included the amazing Lynsey of Lynsey Creative (who helped me rebrand b.marie.photography after moving back to Houston!). It started with the three of us sharing conversation about not just business, but life. Then it ended with Kelly hugging me & being just as emotional as I was about not having any more sessions on the books for the near future. I’m telling y’all, we both were strangely on the verge of tears!
This is one of the reasons I love brand photography so much! I am able to give Kelly high quality, on-brand imagery to connect with her ideal clients & move her business forward (thus moving her clients’ businesses forward too!). But I’ve also gotten to know her & enjoy being able to call her a dear friend. I’ve cheered her on & seen her business grow, and be fortunate to have her support in return. These relationships, these connections, & being able to help move someone else’s dream forward? It makes me so so so fulfilled and happy!
We wanted to give people an insight into what it might be like to work with Kelly, so Lynsey joined in on the fun. To be honest, there were moments during this portion of the session where I got much quieter than normal because Kelly was actually giving such great information & insight that I would forget this was just “staged” and felt like I was interrupting!
Kelly is the founder of The Mompreneur’s Retreat, and I am happy to say I attended the first retreat last year and will be going back for another round this Saturday! It was fun to glance ahead a bit during Kelly’s session as she started filling it in on her planner!
