A few weeks ago I got to travel to Corpus Christi to see one of my very best friends in the world and take family portraits of her and her family. It was a trip built into a whirlwind weekend that also included maternity portraits in Kingwood that morning, but it was so worth the time in the car to get to see her and capture these memories for her family!
I’ve known Adrian for 10+ years now (not that we’ve aged at all….), and it was so fun to finally get to meet all of her nieces and nephews she talks about! They’re adorable and have so much personality (as you’ll see)!
We also made time for each individual family to have their portraits taken. First up was Andre and Anna, and their two kids, Lawrence and Lucy. These four were just the sweetest and Lawrence has pretty much perfected the little boy shy/sweet/slightly mischievous grin.. and I love it! This second shot is just so sweet!
And for real, how adorable are these two?!?! Lucy’s sweet little grin just melts my heart!
Aaron & Stephanie were up next with their 4 precious little ones: Caecilia, Gregory, Joseph & brand-new little Mary. Gregory had me cracking up (and working hard) with all of his faces and energetic little boy antics… and I just LOVED that Stephanie said to just keep shooting and she didn’t mind if he was making silly faces in the photos, since that’s just he stage he’s at. My kind of mama!!! And seriously – doesn’t she look GREAT for just having another baby? Just beautiful!
This sweetheart is just beautiful, isn’t she?!?!
And my goodness, little JoJo is just the picture-perfect Gerber baby, am I right??
Like I said, I’ve heard Adrian talk about her nieces and nephews, and it was so much fun seeing them together. You can tell how much she loves them, and they feel the same way (especially Caecilia)!
Adrian and Jason got their time in front of my camera (again), and I really can’t say how much I love these two. They’re just some of the most genuine, honest, fun people you could ever hope to have in your life, and I’m lucky they’re in mine!
It was quite warm (and the mosquitos were out in full force) when we were taking the family photos, so we made the call to wrap it up and head to dinner after that. Adrian wanted to get photos with her sweet mama too though, so we made plans to meet up early the next morning for a few quick shots before I hit the road back home.
I’ve known Adrian’s mom for a long time, and it’s always such a treat to get to see her. She’s just a gem with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. She loves the view from her condo, and it was fun to snap a shot of these two taking it in before we headed downstairs for some more photos.
Such beautiful women – inside and out!
Adrian & family, thanks for letting me be a part of the family for the evening! Enjoy your photos!!!
