Ok y’all, this was another sweet family that I was so sad to leave when we moved to Kingwood! But I was over-the-moon excited that I got to make a stop in Nacogdoches to take some updated family portraits for them – it’s crazy how fast little Caleb has grown!!! And I didn’t really think it was possible for Lila to get any cuter, but I was wrong.
This family and my history of photographing them seriously has my heart. This is exactly what I want my business to be – serving families year after year with images that provide the visual for the legacy they are building. The photos they’ll look back on some day to see how they’ve grown & changed and how through the growth, the heart of their family has stayed the same – just like that field we’ve come back to time & time again for their sessions.

I love this photo so much! It’s so real – life with two little ones rarely goes as “perfectly” as we might like as mamas, but that just adds to the magic of these kind of photos for me. They’re the perfect representation of everyday life in nicer, coordinating clothes!
