As the sun was coming up, we both pulled into the parking lot of the local garden center & got ready to make a little bit of photo magic to showcase Blayr & incorporate her love of flowers into her brand photos. You see, when summertime is starting to kick in here in Kingwood, Texas, it can be tough to get a lot of location options with lots of flowers available, so I suggested we work with the few feet of garden space between the street & the parking lot. It might have sounded crazy, but just like the rest of my amazing clients, Blayr trusted my vision & we made it happen!
We then snuck over to another green spot for a few more portraits & then embraced all things teal, pink & white as we got some great custom styled-stock & behind-the-scenes/lifestyle images to round out Blayr’s gallery.
Quick little freebie lesson : It’s so important to have headshots & brand photos that are able to do triple duty for you!
- You want to feel confident about them & like how you look (so you’ll want to actually USE them on your website/social media channels!).
- They should reinforce your brand identity: the vibe (polished, laid back, bohemian, classic, etc.) AND your color palette.
- They should have personal touches that reinforce parts of your brand story.
Being able to have all of those things in your brand photos strengthen your brand message & will connect with the ideal client your brand is built to attract & serve!
