This weekend we went to the SFA homecoming parade but got there after it started… then a giant school bus scared poor Peanut with its very loud horn that got blown right as they passed us, so the remainder of the parade wasn’t exactly a hit with our little one. Sad day.
Fortunately we were able to turn the morning around with a stop at the pumpkin patch at Nacogdoches’ Christ Episcopal Church! Peanut just didn’t quite know what to make of all those pumpkins and was obviously very intrigued. She spent a lot of time walking among the rows of pumpkins, but I was able to snag a few shots to commemorate our first pumpkin patch adventure!
I even got to get in on a few shots (thanks to Max)!!
All in all, it was a fun stop and I am thankful for our sweet town for having things like this for us to enjoy as a family. Totally worth a small donation for taking photos… next year? I’m already planning to up our game and do some carving or decorating after our little photoshoot!
This blog absolutely made my day!!! I am sure I will be looking at it many times today!! Love you all.
